So what if Minecraft had been built around making creative mode builds as easy to share as possible, this old project of mine attempted to make such a thing a reality...

controls: mouse only for main edit region but all interface elements have an associated hotkey viewable in the tooltip. Press 'F' to fullscreen and please forgive the poor font size of this legacy version.

Ok! lets have a rundown on how you too can make a nice little image file like this:

of your favourite voxel design by pressing SaveAsImage or 'P'  (this one for example is a tweaked copy of Hanging gardens by creator Noodlor.

And, fingers crossed, *anyone* who downloads this file and then opens it in the editor with LoadFile or 'L' can view and edit it themselves! :D

Don't want to worry about making images which might break the embedded data on being edited in other programs then you can use SaveAsJSON or 'O' which will give you a lovely json text file with run length encoded voxel data :)

Manage to make something marginally cool with this protoype? post the image in the comments to let other people see and edit it themselves (I really hope this old code will still work :s )
